Editorial Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026
QuantuNews is an independent digital publication covering gaming, artificial intelligence, PC hardware and technology.
Our editorial goal is to provide readers with clear, accurate and useful information while maintaining transparency about our sources, reporting methods and editorial process.
1. Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions at QuantuNews are based on the relevance and usefulness of a story to our readers.
Coverage is not guaranteed in exchange for press releases, review codes, access to events, products, promotional materials or communication from companies and public relations representatives.
When commercial relationships or sponsored content are involved, they will be clearly identified.
2. Sources and Verification
QuantuNews reviews information before publication using sources considered relevant and reliable for the subject being covered.
Whenever possible, we prioritize primary and official sources, including:
- Official company announcements;
- Developer and publisher statements;
- Official product pages;
- Press releases;
- Regulatory or institutional documents;
- Research papers;
- Official social media accounts;
- Direct statements from companies or representatives.
When primary sources are not available or additional context is needed, QuantuNews may also consult established and reputable news publications or specialized websites.
Before publication, key information is normally checked against one or more of these sources whenever possible.
Important claims should be attributed to their source when appropriate.
3. Confirmed Information, Reports and Rumors
QuantuNews aims to verify significant information using official sources, press releases or reputable reporting before presenting it as confirmed.
Official announcements should be presented as confirmed information when the source is clearly identified.
Leaks, rumors, reports from unnamed sources or unconfirmed information should be clearly labeled as such.
We do not intend to present speculation as established fact.
4. Accuracy
QuantuNews aims to publish information that is accurate based on the sources available at the time of publication.
Before an article is published, the information is normally reviewed against official sources, press releases or trusted publications relevant to the story.
Articles may also be checked for:
- Factual consistency;
- Source attribution;
- Dates, names and product information;
- Clarity and readability;
- Links to relevant sources;
- Headline accuracy.
Because gaming and technology news can develop quickly, information may change after publication.
When necessary, articles may be corrected or updated to reflect new verified information.
5. Headlines
Headlines should accurately represent the content of the article.
QuantuNews may use engaging or descriptive headlines, but headlines should not intentionally misrepresent the facts presented in the article.
Information presented as confirmed in a headline should be supported by the article and its sources.
6. Corrections and Updates
If a significant factual error is identified after publication, QuantuNews will correct the article.
Corrections should preserve the accuracy of the publication rather than silently maintaining information known to be incorrect.
Articles may also be updated when:
- New official information becomes available;
- A company clarifies a previous announcement;
- Release dates or product specifications change;
- Additional relevant context becomes available.
Our approach to corrections is explained further in our Corrections Policy.
7. Press Releases
QuantuNews receives and may use information from press releases provided by companies, developers, publishers and public relations representatives.
Press releases may serve as a source for news coverage, but publication is not automatic.
When information originates primarily from an official company announcement or press release, the article should make the source of that information clear where relevant.
Press release material may be summarized, translated or rewritten to fit QuantuNews’ editorial format.
8. Reviews, Opinions and Analysis
News reporting should be distinguished from opinion, commentary or analysis.
When QuantuNews publishes subjective assessments, reviews or opinion-based material, the nature of the content should be clear to readers.
Opinions expressed in these articles represent the author’s assessment and should not be presented as objective facts.
9. Artificial Intelligence and Digital Tools
QuantuNews may use digital and AI-assisted tools to support parts of the editorial workflow, including research organization, translation, transcription, editing, formatting and language improvement.
Editorial responsibility for published content remains with QuantuNews.
AI-generated or AI-assisted output should not be treated as a reliable source by itself.
Important factual claims should be supported by appropriate external sources.
Additional information about the use of artificial intelligence can be found in our AI Policy.
10. Images and Media
Images used by QuantuNews may come from:
- Official press materials;
- Publishers and developers;
- Manufacturers;
- Screenshots or promotional assets;
- Licensed or appropriately permitted sources;
- Original or AI-generated illustrations when appropriate.
When relevant, image credits should be provided.
AI-generated illustrations should not be presented in a way that intentionally misleads readers into believing they depict a real event, product or person when they do not.
11. Sponsored Content and Advertising
Advertising does not determine regular editorial coverage.
Sponsored, paid or promotional content will be clearly identified when applicable.
Display advertising served through advertising platforms is separate from editorial decision-making.
12. Conflicts of Interest
QuantuNews aims to avoid situations where personal or commercial interests could materially compromise editorial coverage.
When a relevant relationship could reasonably affect how readers interpret an article, disclosure will be provided.
13. Article Authorship
Articles should identify their author whenever practical.
QuantuNews’ primary editorial coverage is produced and edited by Geraldo Cruz.
Author information helps readers understand who is responsible for the content they are reading.
14. External Links
Articles may link to official websites, companies, developers, publishers, research institutions, retailers or other publications when those links provide useful context or source verification.
An external link does not necessarily represent an endorsement of the linked website, company or organization.
15. Editorial Updates
This Editorial Policy may be updated as QuantuNews’ editorial processes, coverage or publishing practices evolve.
Significant changes will be reflected by updating the date shown at the beginning of this page.
